We would like to dedicate this page to brief introduction of the AYL friends and partners who support operations of our organization.
California Association of Student Councils
www.casc.net – California Association of Student Councils is an organization that became our partner even prior to the AYL official registration. The story of our friendship and cooperation goes back to 1988, and has been successfully realized since. Among various realized projects are exchange programs of the 1993-1996 under support of the United States Information Agency, secondary school exchanges, training programs for AYL counselors and program coordinators in 1999 and 2000, joint project “Youth energy for the future” for Japanese youth and many other projects.
Association of Young Leaders of Kazakhstan
- established under direct support of the AYL in 1995. Currently works successfully in most of the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, enrolling students from other Central Asian countries as well.
Mission of the AYL of Kazakhstan is to involve young people of the Republic of Kazakhstan (13 years old and above) into democratic transformations of the society through leadership programs and civic education by means of trainings, conferences and various activities.

University of Central Lancashire
www.uclan.ac.uk - University of Central Lancashire for two years has been our partner thanks to the “Millenium Volunteers” program, which aims at involving British youth in volunteering. Young people from England take part regularly in AYL’s leadership conferences in Russia and Great Britain. We strongly hope that our co-operation will grow stronger and stronger year by year.
Regional Society of Disabled People “Perspectiva”
www.perspektiva-inva.ru – “Perspectiva” – is a non-government organization, uniting disabled people. Its mission is to encourage independence of disabled people in Russian society and to increase their level of life. AYL and “Perspectiva” have carried out many joint events and projects aiming at involving disabled youth in social life, as well as drawing young people’s attention to the problem of accessibility of environment for disabled people in Russia.
Tolerance Institute of M.I. Rudomino National Library of Foreign Literature
www.tolerinst.ru – Tolerance Institute of M.I. Rudomino National Library of Foreign Literature is the successor of the “Tolerance” program of the “Open Society” Institute, that finished its activities in 2002.
Tolerance Institute’s activities mainly aim at developing the democratic bases of pluralistic society, creating the tools and strategies.
“Polet” and “Solnechniy” Resorts
For the past many years the two resorts in the suburbs of Moscow offer their convenient facilities and provide great service to the participants of the AYL events and conferences.
“Training Center” company
www.leaders.ru – “Training center” is a commercial project of AYL and at the same time a partner organization that works on delivering leadership trainings for adults on commercial basis, using many elements of AYL’s program.
